Great colors in the water! I like the idea of the mallard and his reflection but the reflection seems a bit too choppy in the body. Another possibility of presentation would be to not use the reflection and crop to a pano showing more of that lovely water to the right of the duck, if you have it.

Mitch, I love the colors in the water. I think Nancy has a good crop suggestion

I also agree with Nancy although if you could clone out some of the leaves that break up the reflection I think it might still work. You got a very nice effect here using the Simplify filter and the colors in the water are beautiful.

Love the mallard and the concept you have here, Mitch. The autumn reflections in the water are very nice. I think it this were mine, I would probably crop as suggested by Nancy.

Love the pose and filter treatment, Mitch. Those fall colors in the water are just stunning! I'm going to go against the grain here because I like it with the reflection(though it would have been even nicer if the reflection had been clearer). I would clone out the stick just to the left of the duck.

Mitch, I like the reflection too even though it could be stronger the filtering has made it interesting. Neat pose and colors, I'd evict the stick too.

Hi Mitch, I like how you handled the duck. The warm, pastel like colors also adds greatly to the overall. I don't feel the reflection is helping the image not being well defined and a bit busy...

    Thanks for all the suggestions.
Nancy, Cheryl, Julie, Maureen and Dave wanted to see a horizontal crop. What do you think?

The first image had a real reflection. Thought I would have a little fun and replace it with a "Flood" reflection.

I really like this Mitch! Wonderful pose, capture, and composition. The Simplify treatment works very well, but I agree the reflection is a bit choppy. I think your repost works nicely as another solution.
