Probably the best Kudu image I have seen...Not a easy subject. Great light and shooting angle!

Lovely golden light and great IQ Ken. BG horizon does'nt detract IMHO as the Kudu stands out nicely. You seem to have had some nice light in your recent posts,
-
Pieter,
Ken is referring to the horizon line intersecting the horns in a similar horizontal position.
Ken,
If you were trying to get the horns and horizon to line up like that you never could, but get everything else working right and that happens.
All around a great capture. I agree with the others.

Beautiful golden light here Ken, matched with this nice canter of this Eland.
Taken near sunset?

Thanks everybody, much appreciated, it is not often that you get virtually every thing falling into place.
Pieter,
Robert has explained my one nit perfectly
Marc,
My EXIF says 16.41 so about 1 1/2 hors before sunset.

For that time of day, the lighting is surprisingly golden and delicious!
