    Canon 7D
    Sigma EX 100-300mm f/4 @ 137mm
    f/7.1 @ 1/1000 sec ISO 100 Av -2 EV HH (braced on fence)

    An older image that I finally got around to working with.

    Levels and Sharpening and a bit of work to get rid of BG debris in CS5. Cloned the band off his straight leg (he was captive at the Phoenix Zoo)

    nice preening pose and good colors. I am not a fan of the pitch black BG it gives the image a "cut and paste" look but some people may like it. a bit more sharpening can help too. TFS

    I like the pose and I can appreciate the bg but would prefer to not have the shadow that seems to cut off the front leg from the body.

    nice framing art here.. seems like your focus went on the legs and should have been recomposed by focusing on face.

    else the another trick is to selectively sharpen the head a bit.
