Here is my photo assistant turned Easter model... Annika was almost 9 months old when we plunked her down in the daffodil patch for a photo op...

She has been amazingly good to photograph with! She has been out and about with me since she was about 3 months old - she has been with me photographing elk, sat in a duck blind at 19 degrees F (counting wind chill), ridden in a backpack squealing at red-cockaded woodpeckers while we get full frame pix!

Thanks y'all. We have been blessed with an amazingly happy and tolerant little girl who LOVES to be outside.

Alfred, I'll pass on the duck placement compliment to Annika because that is where she put it!

Robert Amoruso - I don't THINK so! I've got two friends that do "baby" shoots - and while it could be fun, I really don't think that is where my heart is... I've done a couple of model shoots and am amazed at how "relatively" easy it is to get decent people shots - you can tell them to turn, go back and do it again, move over into/out of the light. Of course, Annika doesn't take direction well (yet...), so she is more like a critter...

What a lovely capture. She's adorable, and you've really done well showing her character.
