Nice and sharp with excellent shooting angle. Played a bit with colour balance and saved as sRGB. WDYT?
Like the bird in the repost and the BG of the first post - Or maybe the BG in the second post toned down a bit. Nice low angle and position on bird in frame.
Great low angle and DOF with good detail and exposure. Super shot !
Repost nice. A good crop from the bottom is an option. The bird is a clearly a worn adult Semipalmated Sandpiper. I keep telling folks to get and study a copy of Shorebirds; Beautiful Beachcombers if they wish to learn to age and identify North American shorebirds especially the eastern ones :). But only a few have listened...

Nice image Mike and Ofer added a nice touch to really show it off.
Oops!
Thanks for the correction, Artie!
I do have your book and highly recommend it but I guess I need to read it again.
Semipalmated Sandpiper was my first impression based on the bill but the legs appeared to be yellow so I figured it must be a Least ... must have been the light.
Thanks again!
YAW. Hit the books bud! I am pretty sure that the book mentions that the legs of "black-legged" peep can range from black to dark grey to light grey to dark green to light green. But it is always imperative to consider all the features. Fading adult leasts always range from dark brown to almost blackish brown. This bird is grey. And the bill of Least Sandpiper is always finely tipped and drooping.
