Hello, starting to get better fall colors around here and the reflections are looking better, but not at 100% yet. 7D, 1/1000, iso 200, 700mm, decent crop but I think the IQ held up well. Minor water clean. I liked the warm colors on this one.

Thanks and appreciate the C and C.

    Gary.

    Gary:

Great to see a new visitor to KBS!

Looks like his breeding plumage is just coming back in. Like the pattern on the head and neck.

Color is certainly fall like, and the touch of blue helps.

    Hope he hangs around.

    Cheers

    Beautiful fall image.
I would maybe lighten around the eye a tad.
    The water is really nice.

Beautiful image overall with great colours. I love the water!! I only wish the rear half of the head and neck were better lit.

Agree with some of the comments above - better lit back of head would certainly have made a difference. I had never seen this species before and just love the beak with that black tip. Nice golden colour to the water.

Beautiful BG! The only things I have done in here is some S/H, selective brightening of the eye area and saving as sRGB.

Nice low angle and exposure with good detail captured.

Nice repost by Ofer. Loverly BKGR. I like the bit of green speculum showing. Good head angle and good control of the whites.
