    This is my first post from america. all my earlier posts are from india..I am not sure with the ID. Taken in Liberty of Statue Island, NY.
    This is full frame image no cropping @ 250mm
    canon 500D|Canon 55-250@250mm| ISO 400| F8.

    Yogesh bhai,

    Amazing image this is. loved the expo of whites very well handled. I would def love to see 1024 as this is full frame you would have shown us more details by giving bigger size.

    Congrats on your first US image, should be quite a different cast of characters from your native land.

    Agree with Mital, really would show better at the larger size.

    I thought about a bit of a crop from the left, but I do like the little area of white feathers right near the frame edge, so I think you got it right.

    I could see a version just 1/4 or so of a stop brighter.

    thanks a lot for your comments..actually i have posted this image on flicker and taken a link from their..when i tried to take 1024 size image somehow it is looking not sharp..i don't know why :( below is 1024 image

    Yes to winter adult Herring Gull. Could go a bit brighter. Getting rid of the grass on the bill is an option. The COMP is somewhat awkward with the bird sort of sticking into the frame from the corner. Best to get closer or move back for those.
