    Taken in Etosha National Park, Namibia, 28th June 2011.

    Ken I like this one very much because the clean background let the birds pop very good . Sharpness en head angel are great also.

    Beautiful Bird and razor sharp image with nice HA and Expo.
    I would try to clean up beak if the ethics permit to do so.

    Well taken ,Ken. A difficult bird to photograph due to the dark,even plumage.You have managed to extract good detail.I also like the posture and HA

    Whilst the beak is very dirty he had just been poking it into the ground.

    love the messy beak in this one, nice pose as well. May have a bit more room on the bottom - if the perch permitd it.

    Sharp and a great job with the dark tones and the head angle. A simpler perch would have been a nice blessing.

    Thanks everbody for your kind comments, much appreciated.

    Unfortunately the perch is a nuisance but it is not often that you find a clean one in Etosha, I suppose I could have done some cloning, but I prefer to minimise this.
