Default Cold February Morning At Little Estero - White Morph Reddish Egret

This image was taken last year while helping at Artie's SW Florida President's Week IPT. It was one of those cold, slightly dreary mornings and I thought this fellow looked as if wrapped in a poncho or shawl.

Ha! Love the depth in this image and particularly love his stance and expression.
Excellent exposure and comp as well.
Lovely image. Shoreline gives the impression of the need for a slight CCW rotation.

Randy, a great, almost cartoon pose.
A lot of attitude in the birds expression and pose.
You brought the bird to life here, I really like it.

The pose is awesome, so is the BG, something different and I like it.

Randy, I like the image design with the strip of land and the vegetation. Nice pose, I like seeing the feet.

I like the pastel colors of this one, the soft feel and the ripples in the water. It's also nice to see bird pictures at under 100mm, and I'd like to do more of that in the future myself.

Lovely image, Randy. I like the pose and the bird's expression. The distant horizon adds a lot of depth. Excellent job exposing the whites.

Well done on a great shot. IMG is well exposed with good detail and the bg is a killer. Like the soft light and colours.

What a great stance! Reminds me of some high school football coaches...too funny. Love the soft colors. Great job!

Almost looks like ice by its feet :). Like the careful placement of the little grass island but not a fan of the guillotine horizon (GH). Hey, I just coined another new bird photography phrase! Happy bird-day to me.

Thanks everyone for the input! Always helpful to see how others view an image.

This one has gotten a lot of different reactions from people I have shown it too. Seems to evoke all sorts of interesting themes!

    Cheers
