    I love the top side view that is a bit different from the usual. He is cutting through the air like a knife.

    Very nice dorsal view indeed. I liked the eye contact a lot. Subject very well placed in the frame...nice one, Gail.

    That is certainly the feeling we get from this pose!! I like the cocked head angle. If anyhting I'd prefer the sky's blues less intense and a better view of the tail, but great image overall.

    Unusual pose and he looks pretty intense.
    Nice details on the feathers, interesting age, he is almost "bald", but not quite.

    Good comments from above. I was struck by the tail as well. I do enjoy seeing the maturing feather patterns as the bald eagles reach maturity.

    Nice feather detail. good comp with this pose.

    Perhaps he was looking for a GBH for lunch .

    Nice top view with nice head turn and eye contact, Gail. My guess is that he/she is a four year old individual.
