The eye of this bird is odd...not sure if it is iris coloration or something more.

    All opinions welcome.

Great head shot. Love the open bill and the eye marking give it a lot of personality.

Excellent portrait Kaustubh. Nice soft light, bg. The open bill and the odd eye adds a lot.

Sad if the eye has some damage. But at the same time the open beak and particularly that eye addition shows that the GBH is telling some joke to you.. Really an expression in this image that made me laugh at first before i read..

Excellent shot! Like what Alan said above, a lot of personality! Also love the soft lighting and the smooth and clean background.

His pupil is "blown" so he must have had some kind of trauma the the eye in the past. IQ is superb and I love the layered Bg.

Good exposure and details. The open bill is certainly a plus. The BG is nice, but I'm with Troy about the horizon line placement. The eye makes this guy a recognizable and unique individual, but I must admit that I wish it had an intact eye

Great portrait, Kaustubh. I really like the way he is looking at you.
