    Our first ever sighting of this tiny raptor.

    Light was not exactly conducive, but I tried anway, taken in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, South Africa, 21st June 2011.

    EOS 1D mk IV

    500mm F4 Is hand-held through pop up roof of our vehicle.

    F7.1, ISO 800, 1/8000, EV-0.67

    Should have lowered ISO but too excited

    Looks like a thinker...would agree with Alan, a little more space in the direction, in which the falcon is looking and
    a little below the tail would add more to the image.

    Well done ,Ken ,with difficult light.I like the leg up . Agree with crop being too tight.

    Thanks for the comments, I entirely agree regarding the crop, I cannot imagine why I did it.
