Good advise, exposure theory is a critical part of photography. It must become second nature and mastered to take pictures to the next level. From a learning perspective, it helps see what we were thinking. Moreover, it offers evidence and evidence helps us see the truth.

I just looked up the PhotoWest Exhibition/workshops and they are not having them this year. What a disappointment. I was hoping to see you there.
