    Default Great Blue Fractalius

Shot this one on Monday, a rather miserable rainy day, while I was in Huntsville, Ontario shooting some fall color. I was in Arrowhead Provincial Park photographing a waterfall and found this very cooperative Great Blue Heron fishing at the base of the falls. It was cooperative enough to allow for some lengthy exposures while standing in the river's flow. I will post some of those next week when I arrive back home. A very light Fractalius setting was used (I think it was glow 100) and then reduced the opacity of the layer. I am heading up to the lake in the morning for our Thanksgiving weekend and to close up the cottage for winter. See everyone next week. Have a great weekend!

    Look forward to comments.

I love the high key look and illustration style. Very nicely done with the Fractalius layer. Dreamy background and captivating eye. I really like this a lot! How is it possible that winter is so near?

Nice effects, almost looks like a pencile sketch, cool looking eye. I like what you can accomplish with fractilus, Andrew. I may have to break down and buy that software some day.

I will be in Achray, at Lake Traverse, east side of park, tomorrow but I imagine thats miles from your cottage....
