    I really liked the pose captured as this Yellowlegs was taking flight.

    Very sweet action shot!! I also like the pose and beautiful light. Would suggest defining the catchlight a bit more as it gives the false impression of motion blur as presented, some NR on the BG and some more room especially on the right for the bird to fly into...

    I really like this. I am OK with the comp. Very nice wing position. Water droplets are great. I bit more NR in the BG would be good,

    James:

    Dynamic pose, great shooting angle, exposure.

    The head does look a bit soft, and some eye work as Ofer mentioned will improve the apparent sharpness.

    I agree the cropping is a bit tight, but the pose works pretty well with the tighter framing as is.

    When you press the shutter at precisely the right moment, you come away with great take off poses - this is sweeeet. Well timed James, with a good low perspective.
