    Default graffiti on graffiti

Something different tonight... A couple of years ago I shot some street art in the Toy District of Los Angeles. There are some huge images painted all over a building that is a block long. These collaborative paintings were done with the property owner's permission and are part of a loose association of graffiti artists who do this in several cities around the country. This little blocked off window has been "tagged" by the local taggers, but they do not deface the real art. This is definitely a case of "honor among thieves", if you will. Topaz Detail and Clean with a bit of USM. On the right edge of the frame there is a parking meter. It needs to be there because its shadow plays prominently in the image. Thanks for looking!

Hi Kerry, love the colors and the treatment. I've never shot any graffiti, but it looks like it would be lots of fun with all the wild colors and patterns and such. Nice work on this one!

Hi Kerry, Graffiti makes a great subject. Europe is being bombarded with it which is disturbing.
I don't feel the clipped meter and shadow are adding much to the strength of the image and if this were mine I would eliminate them. Finally, I might have offset the center opening a bit....

Kerry, I am going this week to shoot my first attempts at Graffiti art. The image quality is nice and I like the Clean for this. I like the arrow on the right. I might take a sliver off the left if it were mine. Nice job, your earlier Graffiti art postings were my first inspiration for trying this.
