This white ibis was imaged two years ago while out with Capt. James on the Hooptie Deux. It was fun watching them flare in and try to squeeze in amongst the flock on the ground.

Post: CS5 Selective sharpening. Multiply layer to help tone down the whites, 15% crop for composition. In a perfect world, would wish for a less distinct water/trees transition, but overall not a bad location for the shore line to fall.
Good EXP and perfect timing. And sharp. And I love the concept. Wish only for a bit more below to avoid the two cut off faces. But if you had more for those two it would probably introduce more cut off faces

This lighting angle is working well because of the effect it is giving on the wings...very neat. Nice pose on the main subject and I also like the many preening poses below...
Interesting landing shot. Wish for higher exposure of the wing tips as they are somewhat lost in the BG. I like how the sun in coming in behind the bird and how it lite up the flared out feathers of its' wings.
Very dream like image other wise, has a nice feel to it.
Randy, well exposed, and great pp work to bring out those whites so well. Nice and sharp, and Im sure he found a spot to land without landing ontop of another Ibis.
Randy, nice wing spread and really like the lighting. Although sharp thought it needed a tiny bit of sharpening. If this weather holds should be a great weekend!
