    Default Ibis

This one captured during the Sw Florida IPT as well. Very common bird here, but I liked this pose.

    Hi Bob!

It may be a "common bird" but I don't think I would consider this a common photograph! Very nice ... it looks like a studio image. The water about to drip adds a lot.

    Hi Bob,

Love the pose and light. The mud in the FG is very distracting.

Nice pose, lighting and exposure. Agree with Maxis about the mud in the FG being distracting.

Looks like the bird is doing a pose at the end of a catwalk or something. Nice to capture that moment.
I'm undecided about the mud. I didn't really notice it until I read other comments on the image. At first, I thought it was a nice border at the bottom. Now, I'm not so sure.

I thought that I recognized that bird... Well done, like the pose and the soft sunlight. Do crop the mud and a bit more.

This is very nice. The main point of interest- the red face and blue eye- is in the right place, the colours are super and not blown (reds) and there's tons of detail in the whites.

Maybe a common bird, but a relatively uncommon combination a colors - great capture. I too would like to see a different crop, but with a tad more room on the left (our left) of the bird, less room on the right, and more room on the top. The mud in the FG really doesn't bother me that much. I know that conventional wisdom has the bird looking into the image, but in this case, while the bill is pointed to our right, the bird seems to be looking straight at the lens... Basically, what I would like to see is a nice vertical image...

Nice light and pose, agree with the others. For me the square crop rarely works, I would do a veritcal or a horiz, a square just doesnt do much for the subject.
