    Default Young Buck in Velvet

I was driving through the Nickel Family Nature and Wildlife Preserve in NE Oklahoma when I stopped to watch this young buck. Interestingly, instead of turning and heading the other way, he started to approach my vehicle. He ended up stopping within 20 feet of the passenger side of my vehicle -- I shot this picture across the passenger seat and out the window while he inspected my movement quite closely. I was able to get 5-6 shots before he lazily walked away.

Definitely checking you out Mike. Nice looking coat. Good suggestions by Harshad.

I like the head turn and the detail in the face. The suggestions by Harshad are good. I would also try to tone down the sky in the URC.

Lovely pose and lighting around the antlers and nose. I agree with the others on the PP ideas.

Sorry I missed this one, Mike!
Nice closeup angle, Harshad's suggestions will help as it just needs that little bit of "oomph"
I would crop another bit off the bottom if it were mine...

Here's the photo with the mid tones adjusted and the crop tweaked a tad to remove the view of the belly. Thanks for the comments.
