    Dan - nice light, pose and eye contact. I like the blade of grass coming out of the mouth and the even tones of this one.

    Hi Dan,
    I like the detail and the wonderful light.
    The background adds to the seperation of the deer in the image.
    I would have also tried a tighter crop.

    I like the crop as presented, Danm though a crop from the bottom would also work for me. Gorgeous light and love the stare.

    A lovely classic Mule Deer buck pose! I really like how the curves of the grasses add a bit of implied motion to the motionless stare of the buck. And the colors all blend beautifully.
