Kind of looks like Superman taking off. I agree with your self assessment regarding head angle and BG, but it's still a solid flight shot.

Although some clouds would add an element of interest in the BG I'm still OK with it. I do agree with the HA issue though, and I'd have placed the heron lower and more to the left of the frame. Sharp and well exposed.

Thats quite a steep take off, sharp, and Im fine with the BG. HA mentioned, and agree with Dan to move him a touch back into the LLC.
