Another Killdeer photo. A close up.
I have been lucky lately with these guys.

Nice image Dan! I like the pose, HA and water. The whites look a little blue and it could use a little more room all around if you have it..

Another excellent image that deserves some more processing. Some boost in colour saturation, selective brightening of the bird, removing the blue from the body, removing one catchlight, burning the bright areas in the BG, cropping and adding some canvas on the right. Please let me know if you would like me to stop playing with your images...

Sweet light, and I like the detail on the bird. Ofer's repost is very nice!

Ofer, no problem, I am flattered you take the time.
Yours is an improvement, brighter and the whites look better.
I stare at mine enough and cannot be objective.

very nice pose and details. Ofer's processing has brought the image into life. One things that I have observed is your photos often end up being too dark, do you have your screen brightness set to maximum or perhaps viewing in a very dim room? The newer screens with LED back light can be very bright...

Everything is perfect in the repost I would just add a little bit space to the right!

Both in this image and the one you posted previous I feel that flash (while keeping the ambiant light for the BG and water) would have provided for terrific images. Not bad as is, but as you can see from Ofer's repost they could be much more lively.

I've had terrible luck with Killdeer..I'm enjoying your close-ups of them!!

You get stuff in camera so nicely, Ofer made this one sing. I really like his repost.
