    Hi Mitch, I love the moody feel to this and you did a great job w/the extraction. I might place the bird down a touch and to the right of the frame if it were mine. I see a hint of noise but it is not an issue I feel it adds a little to the image. Nicely done.

    Hi Mitch, agree on moving the bird down a touch. I think the little bit of noise in the sky adds to the drama of the clouds. Nice work!

    Mitch, what I really like is the match you have between the heron and everything else. Very nicely done. You really do nice work with Remask and the compositing. I'm going to swim upstream and say that I like the placement of the bird. If you consider the area above the horizon as your frame, then the heron fits perfectly and that's the way I see it. The water acts as a nice base for this composition IMO.

    Mitch, pretty nice PS work, I think the bird color compliments the BKGR. As to the placement, not really sure where I'd have put that bird, so trial and error is the way to go.....
