Photographed in Florida 2010 during the fabulous SW Florida IPT. I was thrilled with the birds and of course, the instruction!

Hi Nancy, the breeding colors are attractive, as are the light, details, and pose. The only suggestion I can suggest is to remove the cyan from the dark areas. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Nancy,
Great pose. There appears to be a strong blue cast to the image. Fix that and you have a nice image,
Gail
Nancy, very nice. lot of pop in this image. I really liked the size and placement of the subject in the frame. excellent incoming angle...perfectly in between parallel and head-on giving excellent view of the wing, face and the bill. Loved those ripples as well. Contrast seems to be a tad high.

Excellent pose and BG, sharpness is great too and MUCH better than your previous postsI don't see much of a cast, colors look natural to me

I reduced the contrast some and played with the cyan/blue saturation. Not sure if you can see much difference on the web size image. Thank you, Arash.
I think it is a cool looking funny shot.
Looks like a cartoon. I like it.

The repost actually looks a bit more contrasty to me than the original post, which BTW, is one fantastic image. So, so sharp and beautifully processed. The colors look sweet and natural. That said, I reduced a small blue cast. Again, the original rocks!!!! What's that IPT thing that you mentioned??? Where was this created?

Wonderful capture, Nancy! Love the HA and light on the face, and that beautifully extended right wing. Just a great shot.
This is just an amazing shot. Great spread of the entire bird you captured. Excellent detail and great light. Well done.
Lovely landing pose and super colours. I like the eye contact and detail.

Great pose and detail...I would maybe bring the brightness down and play with the levels...Like Arthur's repost on the color
Thanks all! And thanks Artie for a great repost. The SW Florida IPT was the best thing I've done to learn and practice avian photography!
Thanks for your kind words. And have a great and safe trip.
