Nice landing action, killer light and BG.
Too tight overall and wish I could get eye contact.

Rudi, I agree with Troy. The spread wings are very nice but it is a shame about the head angle. Crop is a little tight for my taste. I love the pov, light and perch.

Great timing Rudi, and just love that wingspread. Another vote for being a touch tight, but at least you didnt cut the wings tips. I know these guys have a greenish sheen shown up by the light, but maybe in this, a little too much.

Thanks for the comments and advice everyone! The image is almost full and did not have any space to work with, especially the right side!

I like the wing spread and the BG and the slightly diagonal perch. Would add a little more canvas on the right. I too wish to see more of the eye but still a very nice image,

Great wingspread you have captured Rudi in lovely light and lots of detail. Would have been nice to have a better HA. Not too difficult for you to extend the canvas if you are OK with it.

loved the moment....very nice wing spread. As others have said, a little tight...but shud be easy to fix that if you are into extending canvas. Lack of eye-contact does not bother me....this is a natural head position for what the bird is doing. Good job in positioning yourself parallel to the perch....

What a cool pose, looks like he is just hovering there. I like the warm light and agree re: adding a bit of canvas. Still, very nice that you were able to get in so close to this gorgeous guy.

A superb action shot you have captured here. Love the wing position and the detail. Great exposure and the head angle does not bother me at all. It just shows its concentration on that perch. Very well done.

Super landing pose capture with lovely feather detail and open wings. Ditto eye contact.
