Not quite the theme of a take off, but this Egyptian goose decided to run across the water. This is full frame and taken at a local pond in Pretoria back in July.

Great action filled picture, Stuart. Love the running feet, water splash and the eye contact.

Brought a smile to my face! Great freeze action which is always so much harder to achieve when the subject is running towards you! I love the water trail behind him and the direct gaze towards the viewer,

Nice light and low angle Stuart. Love the action all round, water splashes, wing flaps and running feet well captured.

love the splashes and running pose..I would say that its not always easy to get them coming straight at you but you did pretty well.

Excellent exposure, sharpness and action, Stu. Sharpness is just superb.
I admire the result here and I've typically bombed chances I've had with the subject coming right at me :)
