    Default Spotted Owlet pair

Photographed this just at sunrise with back light. Loved the curious peeping owl and faint rim light. This is the only frame I could get with both the owls in frame. The peeping owl took off before firing shutter for the second time. The second owl was bold and allowed me good number of frames with proper light.
Cloned out a twig in the BG.

Cute! I like the rim lighting. I'm not sure which of the two versions I like better. I know you didn't have time to react, but I wish you had stopped down to get the peering owlet sharp too. I'd also crop out the small perch extention at bottom left.

Love the peek a boo little guy. I personally would like to see the contrast between the two

Wonderful shot...the peeping owlet makes all the difference here. I dont mind the contrast in the OP. loved the rim light. Lots of things to like here.

Is this full frame? If so, then you can crop it tighter without loss of IQ. Sharpening the peeping one will be a huge improvement IMO.

What a fantastic shot, love everything about it. Prefer the OP though it could pop slightly more.

Really sweet image here , Girish . Very very cute with the peeping one !!! Would prefer something in between your version and Harshad , as far as contrast is concerned .
