    We had a wonderful sighting of Secretary Birds building their nest in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, South Africa, 22nd June 2011.

    This is the male taking some rather comfy looking grasses to the nest, he was later rewarded.

    Wow that is quite the decoration this guy is bringing home! I like the included habitat at bottom. I agree with more canvas above, and the sharpening looks to be on the agressive side.

    I have never seen one posted in flight. Excellent picture. Great angle and the nesting material adds to it.

    Hi Ken, I like how you have captured the secretary bird in the sky part of your BG, and another well done for including the grasses below. Good flying posture, and certainly a beak full to carry home.
