The young White Eyed Buzzards are out on their own now. But life is not easy as they are always bullied by other larger raptors for food and space. This is a moment when the young kid was defending itself from an attack by a black kite, the shadow of the kite can been seen in front of the bird.

I know the light is a bit harsh, just wanted the share the moment.

Sharp, dramatic, spectacular. Love the intense look. Is the nictitating membrane half lowered?

You captured an incredible dramatic moment, showing the crouched posture and wide open mouth! Great detail on the buzzard and good supporting bkgd. You positioned yourself well.

Great capture. Love the pose of the bird with the open mouth, half raised wings & crouching defensive posture.

Wonderful shot Kiran. I couldn't quit looking at it for several minutes. I felt like I was right there with you when you got the shot. Nice.

I got a kick out of the pose...almost looks like it stepped on something painful! Good comp and I like the grassy setting.

Excellent behaviour shot! I see no problem with the light! Image looks a bit grainy/noisy to me.
