Usually its really tuff to get to see this bird in open. But in their breeding time we may get some chances to have some bold fellas posing like this.

Gorgeous creature and what a beautiful eye. Sharp and great DOF in keeping the beak all in focus!

Terrific shot, Mital. Great colors and detail. Beautiful comp. I particularly love the shadow of the eyelashes in the eye.

Bill stole the words out of my mouth-I love the eyelash shadows on the eye. Great comp and the details in the feathers are super. Well done,

Beautiful portrait Mital. Well exposed and lots of good details. Nice BG and perfect vertical comp. If anything I'd try to tone down the reflective sheen on the upper mandible.

I like it too. Composition works well. Sharp with good detail. Would try to open up the darker areas.

Excellent image and perfect exposure on this Mital ,though the bird is often seen in vicinity seldom does one get a chance to hit the shutter

Thanks a lot friends for your kind suggestions.

This is for those who asked for little brighter shadows.

I still prefer darker over this brighten shadows version.

The contrast is much better and so the depth of that closeup gives more charm on the OP.

What Say friends?? Feel free to opine.
