A black-backed jackal seems to have lost something and searches for it by upturning piles of elephant dung. Judging by the squint in his eye I thought it might be his glasses he was missing
Photo taken in the Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa, last year.
These guys never fail to provide interesting antics for photography.

This image appeals to me, lovely detail. Great color and like the action, it adds lots of interest. I would maybe take a sliver off the bottom...Very nice mate

Good to introduce a little humour into an image every now & then Morkel.

Love the humour . Lovely image with nice detail, colour and texture on the fur Morkel. Also agree with a slight crop off the bottom.

Fun behavior shot and I like the bit of purple from the flowers. Nicely done.

    Morkel,

This must be my first sighting of Elephant Dung as a central feature of an image.

I am also pleased that a humorous element is OK now.

I might take a little from the bottom.

    Rotation is fine
