Art, I didn't use a texture. I believe it was a combination of lighter grasses. I used a Nikon D300,500Mmm,1.4 tele.

Whew!....This is very expressive! I wonder what he is thinking/ feeling. I think the effects that used were very successful! Ilove the eyes!

Dave, I love the light in this image. Nice warm golden tones. Filter work looks great with all the detail and texture.
