I liked this banking pose as I don't often see this view of a GBH. Taken mid morning today in soft diffuse light at a wildlife refuge here in upstate NY.
I should have upped the ISO for faster SS.
Some crop, curves, sharpening. Slight NR. Lightened the neck area a little.

Thanks so much for looking, comments and critiques always greatly appreciated.

Awesome flight shot with a great topside view. I love the brown tones you caught in the wings.

Beautiful dorsal view. A beautiful fresh juvenile. Techs right on and a perfect, perfect head angle. AIA fantastic!

Lovely, gives me the feeling of soaring. The hint of color in the bg is a nice element.

You did great here, Melissa! I love the high key bg with a strip of soft blue. All the details look perfect- I even like the slight blur of the wing tips which depict motion.

I love this view. What really makes the shot for me is the hint of blue in the BG. Well done,

Melissa, great banking angle, and I really like the wingspread in this. The two tone pastel colours of the sky adds a lot to the image. Well captured.
