    In Missouri, we pride ourselves in having the best state magazine, Missouri Conservationist, and the best calendar, Missouri Natural Events Calendar. I was fortunate to land the cover of the 2012 Edition with an image I call "Eight Swans A Swimming." The recovery of trumpeter swans in North America has been a phenomenal conservation success and I made this image near my home. This calendar is fun to own as all of the biologists in the state have provided info for virtually every day as to what is going on in the wildlife and nature world, on average, for that period.
