Please help me help the "Hooptie Deux"

I am nearing the completion of The Hooptie Deux Redux II and need your help.
For the first time I'm going to letter my boat with it's name - Hooptie Deux.
The sides of the boat are being painted an ivory color with a touch of metal flake.
The seat accent color is forest green.
I need suggestions on font style and color.
The same font will be used for my vessel numbers.
Here is a link to the third installment of my Hooptie Deux Redux II blog posts.

James, Never having seen the boat in person, I'm not exactly sure what I would choose. But I think forest green might look good to be consistent with the seat accents, and I would probably use an italic font.

As much as I love pink, I like Brendan's version b/c the green maches the accent striples on the seats and it's upscale yet understated.

Looks to be coming along fine and with some luck i may see this in person at some some point! I like what Brendan has shown. My only comment is to check on the font for the vessel numbers. In the past, and from a quick search now, FL followed(s) the U.S. Coast Guard 33CFR173.27 guide requiring 3" block style letters in a contrasting color for the vessel number. Just throwing this out so you may check and save yourself a headache.

using pink fits the birds, but not the captain.....like the idea of the dark green and also B's font.

I'm pretty upset that your boat looks nicer than my living room.

Having had the pleasure of spending a few days on the HD, I think that Brendan's font is too delicate.
James, what are the outside dimensions for the sign? That would help in designing the lettering.
Cheers, Jay

Between 32 to 42 inches wide, 6 to 8 inches high.

Thanks everyone.
Right now I'm leaning towards Daniel's font.
Forest Green with possibly a Gold outline or drop shadow, close to Steve's Green/Yellow suggestion.
