This is from my first attempt at photographing motorcycle racing. I am quite pleased with the background of fall foliage in the unretouched photos. I welcome comments and criticism of this attempt at solarization, for which I used Nik Software's Color Efex Pro 3.0
    Pentax K100D, Tamron 70-300 at 90 mm, ISO 800, center-weighted averaging; supposedly 1/4000 at f/4, but I am skeptical.

Stuart, I like this image a lot and think it would be perfect for Out Of The Box. Would you mind if I moved it there? Christopher, would that be ok with you?

Stuart, Very neat effect! I like the way you framed it.

Hi Stuart, Considering my son races motorcycles, I take a special interest in this image. I really like it! The airborne cyclist is well placed and framed nicely between the trees. Nice effect, really works well for this image. I might tone down the solarized tree under cyclists arm, I thin that would make the framing even stronger. I like that the opposing rider add interest, and I assume he is on a different part of the track rather than them meeting head on. Well done.

Stuart, welcome to OOTB! I like your use of filters. If you're so inclined you might want to paint over the solarization under the arm (as Jay mentioned) and the front of the bike so it would stand out more. Hope we see lots more
