    This is the backdrop of Tampa Bay where Dad and I spend many hours photographing White Pelicans this time of year.

    Shooting Solution
    Camera: Nikon D200
    Lens: Sigma 500 f/4.5, manually focused
    Manual Exposure, 1/1600 @ f/8
    ISO 400, Hand held

    I think I know those stacks Overlord !!!!

    Love the sharp bird against the factory Got some real nice whites and saturated legs on that bird !!! Big Congrats !!!

    What a wonderful "urban bird image". I love how you've kept the bird separated from the city and the whole image is nicely composed.

    The wing tip is touching the stack. :D

    This is how I feel about Estero. Great bird pics but just turn around - condos. Yuck.

    I know and I almost got away with it!!! :p This is one in a series of images and this is as far from the stack as he got. I was gonna' move him in PS (would have been a really easy move with the flat bg), but decided to roll with it.
