Nice environmental image Mike. I like that the rain is visible in the BG green forest. Good placement in the frame of the elk. In a perfect world, even the antlers would have been completed backgrounded by the grass and not intersecting the forest.

Nice environmental, but he looks kind of sad and not as powerful as we know he really is. I'd like a tighter crop that still shows the forest and the rain against it. By getting in tighter we'll see more of his impressive power AND the rain will be even more apparent. Where's his harem, or is he a bachelor?

Hi Mike lovely specimen with a magnificent rack. Nice detail and sharpness. I tend to agree that a tighter crop is worth considering.

Lovely framing here Mike and the rain against the dark forest BG makes this one shine!

I like the comp and agree that the rain against the green sets this apart. Good detail and color.

Nice color. Like the falling rain. The green in the background also helps show the rain as well.
