A common and widespread bird, but certainly beautiful.
This one captured in Chiriqui Province, Western Panama; somewhat different perch as you can see.

40D 100-400 1.4 TC small crop from left, removed some paler spots from BG
1/160 ISO 800 f8 Ev 0 handheld, bit tight below tail but no way to add easily.
Lightened the eye by selecting and using levels

nice pose, it's a bit too big in the frame and needs a bit more sharpening, maybe you can recover the details in the forehead too?

    Richard:

Lovely bird, nice pose and perch.

I agree with Arash about too large in the frame. The sharpening on the OP was OK for me. The repost seems a bit dark, but I don't know this bird. Is he really this grey, or more white like the OP?

    Cheers

Nice looking pose and ha. I would prefer between the two posts. Recovery worked well.

Nice pose and well detailed perch. I agree it's large in the frame, maybe more canvas on the left side and bottom. I think somewhere between the two posts would work for me.

    Hello

Colors of this bird can be grey, white or blue depending on location and maturity
I agree the repost was dull; I had also taken blue from the image including in the OP as it just looked too blue.
Now Ive resized as suggested using CA, not so easy on the bottom, and I could probably refine later. Image now sits in the frame much better.
I have lightrened the image and added vibrance to wake it up a little

hope you like it more now
