I photographed this preening sparrow during the early morning as coastal fog was slowly dissipating. I had just a tiny viewing hole in the vegetation. I liked the feeling that this little bird had his early morning routines just like the rest of us!

you have captured beautiful morning routine here. good that you were on good side of light and the bird gave you its shy look.
If you have cropped this i might want to see more room on right and chopping about 1 inch from bottom might not hurt to reduce the hefty perch power.
More on editing you can eliminate the ULC green leaves part matching bg.
Nice preening pose on this dishevelled fella. Too bad about the OOF twigs in the FG. I'd keep the leaves in ULC but would crop down from above to 2/3's down the vertical stem jotting up from those OOF leaves.
