Default Keywords/classifing the species in Lightroom

I have an entry on my LR catalog in the category "bird" and then I have its brazilian name.
As synonyms I have its english name, scientific name and synonyms (popular names) as the bird is known in different areas of Brazil.

One problem I have now is classifying as male and female. How do you include them in your keywording schema ?

I would have to add male/female to every bird in my catalog hierarchy.
I would also like to add its conservation status. Is there any recommended guidelines on how to include it in LR's kewording schema ?

    Any better solution ?

    Thank you.

    Default How I do it

I have a separate keyword set with for breeding biology/age which includes things like Adult male, Adult Female, Adult mixed sex group , Adult group, Juvenile group, Lekking Males, First winter Juvenile, Eggs Nestling etc

I put status in with the species name as a synonym, after all lightroom just amalgamates everything into one alphabetised keyword list when it inserts it into a picture
