    Default Chiaroscuro Snowy egret

I posted this snowy in ETL recently. For the theme, I used Nik Color Low Key and a very slight Fract. Crayon Soft and also PB on the log. This was also taken at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm during a class with Artie.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated

Cheryl, I love the pose and the chiaroscuro effect you applied. I like the PB on the log. I wish you had a touch more of the log on the bottom.

Hi Cheryl, nice landing pose and filtering. Ditto more of the log.

Has a very moody look! Like the bold contrasts.

I love the position of the bird--landing, wings spread to slow down, feet reaching, head looking down. Good chiaroscuro. I'd forgotten about low key filter, must try it.

Great light/dark contrast Cheryl and a wonderful image for the theme. Very nicely done.

Cheryl, Sorry I'm late on this one. I use Low Key a lot, I really like what how you applied it here. Great base image, really like the action, and the contrasts brought out by the PP work very well. Nicely done!

Thanks everyone. I actually had almost no log on the original image and created about half of the lower portion. I'll see if I have another image with more log that I can transplant
