with this theme and World Rhino day, I remembered this amusing, purely behavorial image where these two very deliberately walked behind the brush to conceal themselves...Oh well!

I think it's great Steve, and very much in keeping with the theme. As if a Rhino has to hide!!! But sadly I guess they do because of unthinking people who hunt them for the unthinking people who buy their horns or horn products for whatever misguided reason.

For others- Steve and Roger and I have been discussing colour management in post-processing. Here Steve the rhinos and the branches have a distinct magenta and blue colour cast on my monitor. Here's a version corrected in LAB colour space, and which assumes that the Rhino skin in neutral grey (it may not be).

Hi Steve, I moved this thread to a new one where it should be. Looks like an epic camouflage fail to me! If only they weren't so "rhino-ish"... Nice behavior capture, thanks for sharing!

Love the big guys, hard to see them right

Like the color alternative too. Steve, do you color balance your monitor. I am suppose to every month, do the majority of the time.
