This is far from a spectacular image....but I havent seen too many images of this species posted so I thought I would share it. Likely most of the photos of this species that are floating around the internet were captured from this location in S. Texas known locally as "Salineno". Its actually a terrible spot for photography - way too many feeders, messy BG's and lots of people. But with some patience, diplomacy and luck it is still possible to create a decent image or two.
