    Default Avocet dream

Something a little different for the theme. I like the play of light and shadow and I know the eye is dark. I wanted to keep the look of the capture without using any PS heroics. Topaz filters used - DeNoise, Clean, Lens Effects, and B&W Effects.

Kerry, I like the black and white. The water drops are cool although I'm not as keen on their reflection which looks smudgy. I like the Simplify filter on this as well.

Very, very cool Kerry. Like Cheryl, I love the water drops..but I'd probably evict their reflection as it does look almost like debris on the water...love it.

Kerry, Very nice comp and pose. I love the water drops but agree about the reflection drops. You really do have Topaz represented in this one!

Kerry....I love the water and the water drops on this but the bird itself looks too hard to me...like its made of plaster....perhaps it is just the lighting...but thats my take. You might consider some Glamour glow in Color efex

Hi Kerry, very nicely filtered. The bird looks like a wood carving to me. Ditto on evicting the water drop reflection. Nice work!

Kerry, another good looking image, Avocets are lovely with those upturned bills, perfect for the theme, lovely effects, I never even noticed the drip reflection until I put my on...well done
