    Default Southern Carmine Bee-eater

Created at a large breeding colony on the Zambezi River in Namibia, from a boat. I battled to keep focus against the background, but through hard work and persistence got a few images. I like this one because of the diagonal line that the wings form.

Simply stunning. If it were mine, I'd clean up the defects in the tail feathers. I might also darken the BG just a touch, but that's purely a taste thing.

Beautiful bird, great pose and details. If you do those things, I might get rid of the blue spot in the BG. My eye is drawn to it for some reason.

Excelent result after a hard work. Well done. This is a terrific image, pose, action, light and a very nice bee-eater species.
