Thanks to Kaustubh D. for the suggestion, and to Stuart B. for the image
For October's theme we'll have fun with images of birds taking off, or landing. In the past it usually took some great timing and impressive manual focussing skills for these, but with today's camera's with 6-8+ frames per second and fast auto-focussing many more great images of birds in landing and take-off poses have surfaced in recent years. Many people that only used to dream of creating such images can now do so themselves...but it still takes lots of skill and practice (and sometimes luck!)...so lets see your best/favorite/ take-off and landing poses!
To start a "theme" thread simply create a new thread as per usual, but when typing the title also select "Theme" from the drop-down menu.
Though it will be hard to top the September theme Stuart's killer image get October off to a great start....
