2011-2012 Winter Finch Forecast.

Always an eagerly awaited report, and the forecast usually ends up pretty accurate. Especially of interest for canadians and americans living in the northeast. Looks like it may be a slow year for winter finches for lots of us...hopefully the owls will rebound from a slow winter last year!

Thanks for the link Dan. I was hoping to see some White-winged Crossbills this winter here in NE Ohio but it looks like they have plenty of cones up north to keep them satisfied this season.
