    Default Harvest Mum

    I wanted this mum to look festive and I also wanted to use some autumnal color tones. I decided to use the same Brushstroke texture that I used in my previous post. I also used Fractalius to add some glow and webbing. I also some adjustments in PS. I cropped it to place the center of the mum close to the ROT position. Hope you like it.

    The colors are beautiful! I like the interior glow and the texture. Very nice autumn creation.

    Hi Denise;

    I'm all over the place with this image...more specifically the processing. I love the fall colors, the composition, and there's areas where I really like the processing...the upper portions with that beautiful orange/yellow glow...the larger petals of the Mum where it highlights the structure...I wish it had faded almost to a gray on the tips of the flower closest to the center...it's a beautiful image, just wished it had maintained more of that incredibly vibrant color through some of the processing, but that's a matter of personal preference. Keep those flowers coming!

    HI Denise....beautiful colors and geometry going here. If it were mine i would crop off some of the lighter petals at the bottom.

    Beautiful composition, Denise. I like the colors and your processing takes it to another level! Excellent work.

    I like this a lot, Denise. The textures and effects are very beautiful. I tried taking a small slice off the lower edge and like that too.

    Really well done, Denise, has nice warm soft glow to it, looks candle lit. Nicely composed and there's a gentle 3D effect of it kind of radiating out of the frame. Very nicely done!

    Great fall colors! Lovely lines and composition. Wish the brightness were more on the center of the flower (ROT position). Wonder what the original looks like.
