No matter how many dancing Reddish Egret images I have I will always stop and photograph them whenever I see them because I have yet to get the image I have preconceived actually several images. I have a few that are close like this one but none were everything comes together.

Nice Shot Don. I love the blue BG and the bird is nice a sharp. Detail is great.

Don, this is a very nice pose, nice light and good detail. I look forward to the one where it all comes together for you. What do you think about a slight amount of CW rotation?

It just pops off the screen to me, really nice BG and details.
Pretty close to perfect for me.

I thought I went to far on the CCW rotation when I leveled it but if you look at the ripples they are pretty straight.

I like the intense look, the raised wings and the raised leg. Sharp with low angle....very well done

This sure seems to capture the quintessential reddish egret hunting pose to me, Don. I'd be thrilled with this one. Awesome sharpness and colors. Great comp. Love the raised foot, the low angle, the gorgeous light.

Nice one, Don. You've done a good job capturing his character. I've only had the chance to photograph a reddish one time, really tough!

I agree with you Don and this one rocks with great under wing light and the lifted foot and water trail really add to it. Gorgeous blue tones too.

I like how well the light lights up the wings (terrible grammar). Great pose. Great image,
    Gail
